Hi I am on my 4th tank of gas on my MT And I was diving around my back yard tuning the motor and i lost my rear wheel drive. It appears the pin that connects the cva broke. I noticed a cva rebuild kit. Should this fix the problem? If one rear tire spins freely due to a broken pin does that prevent the other rear wheel from working?

Thanks in advance!

Changed pin with piece of drill bit and it's fixed. Didn't realize if one pin broke both rear tires won't spin under power. Learning every time :)

Yeah, they are an "open" diff so they will alway try to send the power to the wheel with the least resistance, so with a broken pin it will just try to spin the broken shaft. Path of least resistance.
