Receiver/batt box...

Has anyone modded their receiver/batt box so you don't have to fight that last Allen head screw that hides under the filter? Its a pain in the ass to take the cover off. I was thinking about maybe putting a 1/8 scale or 1/10 body post top in that spot to make it easier but I wanted to get some ideas first. I like the idea of keeping it tight but accessibility would be nice also..

I have read that some just leave that screw out. I just use a ballend hex driver. It works without removing the air cleaner. If you leave a charge plug outside the box you don't have to get in there to often. I know some are not comfortable with charging the pack in the car but I have always done it this way with no issues.

Ball end hex driver, dude. I like to keep an eye on my RX batteries when they're charging, so I take them out.
