Receiver battery

When you guys charge your receiver pack do you remove it from your car or just leave it where it is & plug it in?

Leave mine in when on charge.

Glad Im not the only 1 then I was asking because of what happened to my TX with the exploding AA cell. My receiver pack is right next to the fuel tank so might start taking it out to charge cos if the same happens to this I think there will be a large hole in my house :badair:

I take the battery out to charge as I normally have another one ready to put back in.

Live life on the edge..........and keep an extinguisher handy Got a big one in the house & a small 1 in the car (extinguisher that is :lol. Nearly had to use it on my TX the other wk :badair:

I take the battery out to charge as I normally have another one ready to put back in.

That is what I will be doing from now on for the sake of a clip & a screw.

I have two and swop them over every time. since I put in a custom radio tray I was able to improve the battery access so not an issue for me.

its probaly safer leaving fuel in the car its the fumes that will do the damage fuel catches fire fumes explode bang but what do i know mine sits on a shelf under my tv with what ever fuel never got used usally not much of it

Lucky man. Mine got officialy evicted to the garage last weekend, permanently. Aparently Eau-de-RON95 isn't as nice as ambi-pur. Each to their own.

im lucky mate mine hardly ever smells of petrol but some of my mates ones reak of the stuff weird

NiMh and LiFe i leave in, but when i was using a lipo, i took it out and put it in the lipo sack.

leave mine in the MT and charge, got one of those charges that alarm goes off when full and it drops the voltage and checks how it looses to see how many mah it can pump in.

if I was running a lipo I would remove but very safe with the nimh.

radio batteries always come out though.
