went out with my xb today. checked everything befor I left. Sterring servo worked, throtle servo worked. Got to the track, started up the xb let it idle checked the steering worked fine set it down checked the steering no servo movement, throttle servo fine. came home on the bench no servo movement, thought the servo went bad.Took a new servo pluged it in nothing.Put my flysky reciever in pluged in the steering servo worked perfect same with the new servo out of the box worked perfect. When I pluged my steering servo into the throttle it worked perfect. That being said I tried two other spectrum recievers and they did the same thing. The specktrum reciever in my fg works fine. So my question is do recievers go bad? I have 3 spektrum recievers that are kaput. My cheap a$$ fly sky gt3 recievers are working perfect.

yes in my experience recievers go bad but also my reciever when it went bad blew a hole threw the back of it and was smoking like hell out of the battery box, but i would wait for someone else to reply, also you didnt play with the trims or anything right lol, i have had false scares because of people doing that.

Ok thanks.N o all my trims are at zero.I thought it was my dx3c at first. So I guess its flysky`s $7.40 recivers in lieu of $49 sr300`s.I never ran through water.

Ok I bound my 3 recievers to my sons dx3s and they all worked. Then I rebound them to my dx3c and they did not work. Then I deleted my xb model 1,and reentered my xb stuff. Then I rebound all three recievers , pluged in the steering servo to all three recievers and they worked perfect. So I guess the dx3c`s cpu got confused.

I've had them go bad for what seems like no reason myself, easy enough and cheap enough to replace but simply said they are also a royal pain when they go on ya....

Glad you got the receivers taken care of I had a feeling they worked. If you want to cut down vibration on the receiver pack the box with some foam sponge.
