Hi guys,

Being new to 1/5 scale Redcat Rampage I find everyday as learning something new. My battery went dead while using truck

so I took it apart to replace battery with spare. Now the whole truck is dead. I charge the other battery (the one I thought was dead)

and put it back in. Still nothing.

I used voltmeter to test on off switch. In off position nothing turn it on good voltage. Is there somehow I can check the 2.4gz 3 channel module on the truck? I really do not want to just start replacing parts. Is there a way to trouble shoot this thing.

Please Help!

Thanks

Mike

not famaliar with the red cat reciever but make sure that... this is standard i believe

channel 1 steering

channel 2 throttle

bottom = battery

things to check

is your power switch connected to the reciever properly?

is your reciever powering on? (should be a light to indicate its powered on)

is your reciever bound to the transmitter? (refer to red cat tutorials put out by alishanmao)

are you sure the batteries in your transmitter are not dead?

http://www.youtube.com/user/alishanmao?blend=1&ob=5#g/c/C1A1C063763D4229 refer to binding transmitter and reciever (might use term tx=transmitter and rx= reciever)

are you getting any response out of the reciever in the vehicle @ all or is it limited to throttle and or steering or both?

um i don't know what else to add but these are good places to start? work backwards before replacing anything that may not need to be replaced

make sure your servos are working make sure your transmitter and vechicle batteries are not dead.....
