Thought this was worth posting a pic of. I ran the wire pipe hanger for awhile and it kept cutting thru whatever kind of hose I could find to cushion the stinger. I was worried it might eventually cut thru the pipe itself. My brother made this hanger last night, it has a silicone cushion clamped in between to suspend the end of the pipe better. I don't think it will rub thru anymore now.

very cool set up. how well is the pipe performing???
It is a lot better than the x-can which kept vibrating apart. The pipe is a better overall improvement in power, both bottom and top end. I posted a short vid on page 2 of this thread if you want to see how it performs.

Fantastic mode! Why not tell your bro to mass produce this gimmick and offer it up for sale? Ordered the pipe along with the MT and i sure would want to have one just like yours.

Don't count on any production of a those pipe hangers. It was mostly all handwork. I'd have to charge way too much for them if I started making them. I welcome anyone to give it a go though. Anyone out there have access to a waterjet cutter? For the gasket part I used a few layers from a silicone pan liner for the oven. I guess you could even use a few layers of an innertube. This is Nitro's bro btw.

So....the stock hanger I got doesn't appear to fit anywhere obvious on the shock tower or anywhere else!! Am I expected to bend it so that it fits somewhere? If so why the heck did they send it improperly bent in the first place? I may have missed something but if I did I sure would like to know what. Am I supposed to source some silicone tubing to go around the inside of the pipe hanger part too? It seems to me that if there is not contact with the pipe and the hanger somehow then the vibrations going through the exhaust will still transfer to the exhaust manifold up around the engine and cause problems. Is it OK to run the pipe without the hanger or am I just asking for trouble up around where the pipe hooks to the exhaust manifold?

I broke down and order one of these pipes for my buggy.

Now that I'm looking at these pics of it mounted, Looks like it sits pretty high on the rear shock tower. Doesn't look like the buggy body will even go on with this pipe installed. I guess I'll find out in a few days.
