Redcat Rally gear brakes apart

I have a redcat Rally 4WD onroad car that I use for topspeed runs. My gears are 33/27 and 31/19. After (3) passes the #19 gear breaks apart, not melts, not strips out, but breaks apart in pieces. This has happened (4) different times. Has anyone else had this happen? It is a plastic gear otherwise I would get a steel one. None of the other gears are effected. Am I doing something wrong? Any info, please?

Why not try a larger spread on the first 2 gears and a closer ratio on the ones behind. can't be much meat on the 19.

I would check to see if LargeScaleRC has MCD metal gears in 19/31.

Problem solved. The D shaft bearing (19t gear) was super sloppy and moved that gear around. As it turned out the stock plastic gear plate was wore down, allowing the bearing to move thus stripping out the 19t gear. I now have the aluminum gear plate. Thanks for responding.
