Rally speed

I swapped out the CY23 for a stock G270 when I brought the car.
So all speed test was done with a stock g270 engine.
The rally with stock gears and stock pipe was running 36mph on the speed gun.
Now with the gear of 35, 25, 26, 24 and a Samba pipe, I was clocked at 47mph.
At this point the G270 still has more power, but the gear ratio topped out.
Just check the old and newer youtube videos and you see the speed difference.
