Hi!

I have been looking at the Redcat Rampage Monster and really like the looks of it. I do have some questions that I hope someone here can answer:

1) I have seen this truck under two different brand names, Redcat & Maverick. Is there any difference between these two?

2) How can you tell that the the truck you are going to buy is the newer version 3? Is this a version 3 (see link)

3) What`s the quality like? Any vital upgrades that you need to do?

4) What brand is it on the engine and does a Zenoah for example fit in the chassie?

Thanks!

Both are made by same manufacturer to different companies that chose or make changes to there requirements I believe. All parts are interchangeable between them. The maverick is a v3. Should upgrade throttle servo. Instal kill switch. They come with a Hy engine basically same as a Cy. Zenoah engines fit and alot of the guys here run them.

Thanks!

Does anyone have an answer for the other questions aswell? I`m really keen to know since I`m about to make the purchase pretty soon :)

Quality is great. They are very easy to work on. As with any RTR the electronics (servos) need upgrading.

A kill switch should always be the first hop-up.

mine came with the kill switch, I have version 3.
Really???

Do you mean the failsafe? A failsafe sets servo position incase of signal loss. A kill switch will shut off the motor via third channel or shutting off the transmitter.

dad, mine came with a a failsafe, my MT will stop if there is signal loss or it being out of range. I thought you were talking about the kill switch on the motor to shut it off lol.
