Hi ALL

I have been checking out threads for the past several weeks and I am about to join the world of 1/5 gas rc. I am looking to purchase the following:

Rampage mt

Killer bee kill

Hitec 645 mg for throttle

Hitec 805 mg for steering(2)

Jet pro side pipe

My questions are as follows:

Can I use the redline oil right from the start or should I use a different oil for break in. I am planning on running 25:1. Is this 5 oz of oil per gallon?

Also, can I use the 805 mg servo for both throttle and steering?

Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

Thanks in advance,

Anthony

greetings ,

hitec 5765 hv better programmable digital ball bearings x3

805 too big for throttle

go to futaba TX/RX

redline should be fine , just stick with it consistently at 1:25 even after break in.

fun stuff coming! oh yeah ,get the carb 990 to go with the pipe. might as well

It is my understanding that synthetic oil slows down the break-in process. There are many other opinions that say its fine to start with synthetic.

I've been told that synthetic does slow ring sealing. I started with some stihl oil cause it was handy. I still think it takes four to five tanks of fuel to get to the peak of performance.

I do like the maxima castor 927 as it is very clean burning...

Quick question on transmitters. I read the fly sky fs gt3b will bind with stock redcat receiver. Is this worth the $40 over the stock txt or should I just grab the futiba 3prka with r203gf.

Yes it is worth the 40 bucks. It has 10 model memory and a lot more adjustability than the factory radio.

Yes it binds with the Redcat receiver all three channels will work.

Thank you everyone for your responses. I ordered the flysky. I have all my necessary upgrades ordered and it's time to order the MT.

I can't wait....
