i got just a few questions on the baja competition by FG

does the trevor simpson bottom end fit in the chassis, and is there 4 servos total on the hydro model, (ie...2 for steering, 1 for throttle/rear brake, 1 for front brakes)

thanks

Wow, that one is going to be a tough one. You may want to shoot DDM an email and see if they could check on it for you. With the model being so new and the motor so out of reach for most it will be hard to find someone with the set up. I guess you could ask if the TS bottom end is shaped close enough to a Zen?
Good luck.:)

You can use 4 servos but you may be ok with 3. (Just one for steering)

As far as the engine fitting that's another issue. It's pretty tight and Zens fit well. Anything else you may have to modify to fit or may not fit at all. I mounted a CY into a Comp and had to dremel some area off otherwise there was no way to mount it.

cool thanks for the info, i figured te carb would be big trouble the way the motor sits in that car.

i just sold my baja but that deal in the marketplace is killing me, largescalealloy has one for 2300 shipped with hydros!

I have never tried it myself in the 4wd, but I will post pics of the ts Reed case in the 2wd baja.

It fits like a glove in the 2wd, so I am almost positive it should bolt right up in the 4wd version.

From my other link, Here's a pic of the difference. You can see how much needs to be shaved off. Not sure how thre TS is shaped in that area. It would be a costly mistake.
