Reed kit

hey now
just put on reed kit on 27.2. at idle it sounds like i found the sweet spot on the carb. Heres the problem car takes off good once then i bring it back to me and and just seems to bog out. if i squeeze to full throttle it will stall not take off. i played with needles and idle screw for about two hours last night night and cant seem to get it. any advice?

Is the head ported for a reed kit?

not yet the piston oneil sent me is defective so i bolted it to the the zen anyway just to try it

I have never had a reed motor but have always heard if the head is not ported for it you will have issues.
