what does it do? it looks like just a longer intake. is their a substantial amount of power increase. thinking about sending one of my 23's out to get ported to match a reed kit but not sure what to expect

im sure i'll get more out of a 28.5, but im bored with that and want to build off the stock23 in my tt. do know if it helped with any low-end punch or what areas it helps in?high/lows.. is it just making your intake ports larger and longer. wich i would assume helps all around perfomance. but im not sure. if i know how the reed kit works i will know what carb, crank and flywheel to put on, thanxGas Jocky said:The first engine I put in my MT was a 27.2 reed, (zenoah 260 with a stroked stuffed crank windowed piston and reed block. It's a great upgrade from stock but you will get way better performance out of a simple 28.5 race ported top end kit for a lot less money.I should say that the reed was better than the 28.5 when used with stock cans but when I installed pipes the 28.5 woke up a lot more than the reed.
DDM engine snaps chinese made (sweat shop) RC in half from to much torque....that would be totally awesome. If it does, you guys can watch me run it over with my Tundra...all on video.Piranha2 said:LOL, have fun with that powerplant, can't wait to hear you tomorrow........too much power......too much torque......bent my chassis and broke everything that attaches to it.......modded / ported 30.5cc?........priceless
