been onto the o'neill brothers website to check out there motors and seen that they do a bolt on reed valve kit for $99, was just wondering has anyone fitted one and are they as good as they say? :cool2:

Well the $99 dollar reed valve bolt on is only half the job....you really need the head
ported correctly for it to get the full effect with the bolt on reed valve.......other wise a waste of $99 dollars.......Just my thoughts here.....Slawhammer
bolt on reed adds X amount of performance gain, while porting for a particular reed increases it that much more... I have not used a reed but I know guys race pocket bikes and they say a reed makes a big difference.. mind you they port their own heads so...
Big J (mate) has dot a Bergonzoni with a reed valve motor in and the way iy gets from idle to top revs is unbelievable! It revs sooooo quick.If I were you Charlie I,d get the full hit.
