How do you guys refuel your r/c's? I picked up a 1 gallon jerry can, but i think that will be a pain to refuel with. I was looking into products like the Flo n' Go and other syphoning products. The Flo n' Go looks like something I'd like to have, but people have given it bad reviews, poor product quality.

I have a setup like this one from largescale rc

Just bought a cheap 2.5 gallon jug from canadian tire, the Dubro kwik-fill gas pump kit and strapped it on. The reason I wanted a pump system is so that if I don't want to finish off the tank or a part breaks and I can't run out the tank I just stick the nozzle in and pump all the gas back into the jug. (Don't like bringing any gas at all inside the house)

This pump for a 2 gallon can is $48. Not bad. However, the only shipping option that LSRC provides is $30. Geez... I'm not paying $80 for this thing. LOL! I'll keep looking around, hopefully I can find it elsewhere, perhaps a Canadian supplier.

I whistle at my son, point to the gas can, and then point to my car. 1/2 hour and 100 whistles later my car is refueled. Ya it takes a while but good labor is hard to find these days. I could get it done alot faster with the wife but she charges a service fee.

Here's what I use. hate endorsing Wal-mart but that's where I got this. Like a mini gas pump. 100% leak-proof. Trust me tried everything, it wouldn't leak out. handle got a lock, it won't pour gasoline out unless you push the lock button. But best of all, it's $2.75!! dunno about paying $80 for gas can kit. too rich for my blood :D

I picked up a Flo n' Go as I didn't find something in the Walmart here. The reviews were right about product quality. It's already leaking. I might head back to Walmart again, I might have missed the above noted products.

Yea, I got one of those Blitz cans too. They are nice and leak proof. I hated those new C.A.R.B. regulated gas cans when they first came out, but the ones with the triggers are nice and easy to use.

true that

I never thought that one day, I would actually find a product walmart sells that actually work. Those 3 words, walmart, product,work... shouldn't be in the same sentence. somebody did their homework on this one. I gave it a torture test. filled it with gas and went to the back of my house started kicking it, turned it upside down, tied to a tree upside down and left it there for hours and VOILA! no leak! why all these trouble for a stupid gas can? let's face it, gasoline is a volatile substance, DUH! Hello, McFly! :D dangerous as it may sound, but I keep my gas reserve inside my house coz' in Alaska there's so much moisture and always so damp and if I leave my gas can in the garage, my XT runs so crappy. Big improvement when I started storing it in my room next to my XT. Mixing just 1 gal at a time helps too so I always have a fresh mix of gas and oil. Little details like this makes a big difference sometimes. but don't tell my wife about this though:D Hey, I'm a hardcore 5th scale basher :D HAVE YOU RUN OVER A NITRO CAR LATELY? :D

HHAHAHA Thats awesome powerslave69 kicking a gas can and tieing it to a tree, hell I do stuff like that just to keep my neighbors guessing about my sanity. So next time you go outside and your neighbor runs for his house instead of asking you " hey what are you doing" you can thank your gas can!!! You might not have any close neighbors since you live in Alaska, oh well keep up the good work anyway!!
