Hello everyone, this time we have a new question, to get to know everyone better and understand where your love for this hobby comes from we would like to know

Do you remember your first RC? How did you get into this hobby?

first

first good time rc's, i bought 2 tamiya ford pickups from tower hobbies in late 70's. had futaba 2 channel wheel radio with throttle switch on the side of the box. then, my son got an rc-10. then a sand scorcher. from there we went through savage trucks, do pro car, ofna sprinter, and finally a baja 5b. when i was young about 55 years ago, i remember having a little car with a controller with a 6 ft cord on it. 2 d cell batts. what a deal!

I followed on by buying alot of cars old and new so have had my hands on some very nice cars along the way..

wish I still had them all now....some are selling for a fortune now...

Wow, is that a real pic of your car now? it looks great! how long have you been a part of this hobby for? (PS: Sorry for the super delayed response.... forgot my psw :o)

I then got a Tamiya 306 Maxi,
then Juggernaut 2
then HPI RS4 Rally - Focus
then E-Maxx
then another E-Maxx
then Tamiya Tiger I full option
then Tamiya Sherman full option
then Revo 3.3
then Raminator 1/8
then Raminator 1/16
then Raminator 1/36
then MERV
then sold the Revo and bought the FG MT
then made a 1/5 from parts - new and old
then bought a Traxxas Grave Digger - for my son

Wife says she feels left out, I say it's like she's got shares in Next!!!!

Sadly the car is long gone but still have a couple of old cars...
All I have left of my old ones is a mantua turbo beetle and a thundertiger eb4 s2

I also have 2 FG's

I raced from the age of 12.. (1989) up untill about 1999 then became a basher of some old crapy hpi thing...

then about 5 yr ago bought my thunder tiger eb4 to bash about with and loved it...still do ...

And last year I got myself an FG Baja....most fun you can have in rc i think....
