Hi, had a close call the other day, batteries in tx must have been low and car took off by it's self, luckily it was coming toward me rather than down the far end of the car park (empty by the way) so I stuck my foot out... Maybe not the best idea, it jumped over it and bounced and rolled... over a kerb breaking the rear body mount, luckily didn't have shell on, and I managed to turn it off safely... Could have been Much much worse, only the body mount broke, any way I'm in the Market for a kill switch.... Is this one worth getting?

Or maybe this one?

Or I hear a few people talking about the killer bee kill switch, let me know cos I'm not sure what's good or what's a waste of money.

Thanks

To be honest mate I've never heard or seen the switches you've posted but the superbee is probably the best out there so I would push you towards one of them because of the excellent backup support that killer rc have but at the end of the day its your car and your budget ;)

;) If it ain't broke, bash it till it is ;)

Just wondered if there was any difference apart from the price? Must all do the same job, what are the benefits of the superbee compared to a generic one.

I have a modified pico killswitch for sale $30 shipped to us, outside of us will be a lil more on shipping.

Your better off messaging kent (killer rc) on here for the specs bud, yeah they all do pretty much the same job in killing the engine but killer rc has done a lot of leg work in makin sure his items work on most tx's, best bet is give him a message and he'll explain better than I can, hope that helps you bud ;)

I've use one of these to without any problems up untill I rebuilt my baja, I had strange glitches on my servos which I thought was due to the age of my battery untill I removed the switch, don't get me wrong I had it fitted for 2 + years without any issues so it was probably gettin tired after the abuse my car had taken ;)

Yeah mine even killed the engine by switching the tx off which some other people said it didn't, bonus :lol:

One of the kill switch links says this at the end....

Note: The kill switch not including BEC Function(Battery Eliminator Circultry)

Does that mean it won't kill if battery becomes disconnected?

I've not looked at the links you've done but all i would say is get hold of 1 of the new KillerRc Superbees, smaller than the older KillerBee with extras now on them...
There maybe cheaper options out there but the KillerRc products are tried and tested with an excellent customer service....

Where is everyone buying there super bee from? Iv found the killer rc site but says 3-5 weeks for delivery to Uk.

buy direct off kent .....half the price than buying from MMR...check out killer rc

discount codes :D ignore the 3to5 weeks i ordered 2 that took 10 days

ask to put lower value on packet to avoid VAT and handling charges

K....
