Does anyone know if is possable to put one of those remote starters in an FG,like the ones a pocket bike has in it.Its basicly the same type of motor just bigger right? The system runs off of a 6 volt battery and I was thinking that you could just run a second battery for it,or if it don't take much juice to start it maybe you wouldn't have to! Lets get your guys oppinion...what do you think?:detective:

I think the owner of Baja skunkwork's is working on something now like that. For now we have the roto start that is awesome. I know because I own 2 of them:shuriken:

I belive it was worked on a while back and was done but, the weight just is not worth it.

How much did it way?
Was this what was used?

Hey Kami, that rotor start is excellent, good buy there! Bit on the expensive side though but brilliant all the same.I take it ,it works off a one way bearing like the Nitro's? As for the electric starters ,well they are just fantastic, but at £280 I couldn't justify it , way ,way too dear! You could pick a decent used FG up for that! They would look pretty good though...just standing there ....pressing a button or third channel switch and.....BANG,engine started! Too cool for me though ;)

Yes it has a one way bearing, it may be a little expensive but it's made out of billet alloy. I will never go back to pull start's, it's so easy now :celebrate:

I know before I spent money like that I would buy an upgraded motor and deal with a broken pull start once in a while. Heck for the money I could get a spare pull assembly and bring it bashing.:)

yea me too btb. id just put it towards another car and motor lol. ive never broken a pull start and i don't see starting any of my cars that much of a hassle to spend 200 more.

Yes but you still have to pull it  I am at a point in my life where
the shoulder hurts, and how cool is it just to push a button :celebrate:
