I,ve got some stuff to install...HPI airfilter with DDM outerwares prefilter, Walbro 990, and 8000 rpm clutch springs. So I'm going to have to remove the engine. Does anyone have any words of wisdom on how I should go about doing that? Is there anything I need to watch out for so I don't screw up!

Also the Walbro 990 I got didn't come with a gasket...do I need to get a new one or can I just use the old one?

You are going to need a piston stop to get the clutch off to put new spring on, (in a pinch you can stop the piston with a heavy gauge piece of wire)

You shouldn't re-use stock paper gaskets, if you have almost no run time on them, they might be just fine though.

Thanks for the advice krashkrieg.

Will it be very obvious when I'll need to use the piston stop? Hope that's not to dumb a question.

You will need the piston stop as soon as you go to un screw the screws from the clutch shoes without the piston stop the clutch will keep spinning around. If your gasket from the old carb is not broken you can use that gasket.
