Removing inner gear - help needed

Hi Folks,


Im wanting to change the gear ratio of my truck and im having problems getting the inner gear off, i've held the shaft at the back and it still wont budge all other gears just slid off


Its the inner gear on the extended square im struggling with


Can someone please explain how i get the bloody thing off

Is the the extended square off the shaft with the gear stuck to it? If it is.sometimes you may need to tap the extended square out.

No the extended square is still on the shaft, i can't get that off either

Okay,What you may have to do is get a spanner that will fit the square, hold the shaft and work it off.It might be stuck due to corrosion.
