my use and mainly on the ground.
but with the bell fully closed you do not risk overheating the clutch?

There's always a risk involved. A fully enclosed might overheat easier than one that isn't. However, running the stock setup allows for debris to enter the clutch area.
The Vertigo is a semi enclosed carrier since it's also vented.
As I wrote earlier, I'm running the fully enclosed Turtle V2 setup and haven't overheated the clutch yet. I have no personal experience with the other setups but Vertigo makes some very nice parts.

I can't and won't tell you which one is better simply because I don't own or have owned all of them. Personal taste is also a factor to take into account.
