My steering servo took a crap... Thinking about the HiTec HS-805BB, 320 oz/in, .16 sec., as a replacement. What is everyone else using?

I have used the 805s in my baja with mixed success, They last for a while with a looser then normal servo saver, but always end up decapitated. But cheap and new spline is $10 for the gear set. I have now Multiplex Rhino Digi4 and Hitech 5745 with no issues.

Any thoughts about using a sail winch servo for steering? It has 140 degrees of travel which would be 70 in each direction. I suppose the amount of travel could be limited just like any other servo?
