Replacing the piston ring.

So my exhaust bolt decided to break off in the head. While trying to extract it the head cracked.


I have a new head and piston ring on order. Question, what is the process of replacing the piston ring?

There is a slit in it just pull up and work your way around.

When assembling I always put a bit of 2 stroke oil on as lubricant.
