I noticed today that my return line was at the bottom of the tank, next to the black feeding line. What I have heard the return line should be put in just a few millimetres in the tank above the fuel level. Will it make a difference if the return line is above or in the fuel in the tank?

My return line is just through the grommet just in the tank. THat is the way my MCD's and my FG all are.
