I need a new pipe for my KM baja , wondered if anybodys tried a Rev box?

Want something with good performance but not too loud and not too expensive lol

i think there very similer to the xcan exhaust, think dwarfy runs one drop him a p,m and ask him wot there like,

I like it. I don't have to hack away at the shell & it gives a bit of a boost to the bottom end power. Its loud but sounds like a crosser :cool2: For the money its worth it I say. I think Trip's better half Meli has 1 on her mutilator & rates it too.

You would be better going for the front pipes as they would exit under the rear wing on the baja. The stub pipes just unscrew & you can get longer stingers & cut them down to suit if required.

There is a copy version on the market but not sure of the quality or performance but its easier on the pocket. Only has the side exit pipes though.

Im trying to decide between the KM dom clone and an X can at the moment

I believe the Xcan gives better low down grunt, the dom clone gives better top end... I like the idea of the xcan being a solid box after my SS copy breaking on me...

Decisions decisions
 
The plus side with the x-can is that you will never have a cracked head with it cos it will be tucked out of harms way. A few of the KM lads have had heavy arse end landings & cracked the heads cos it has caught the pipe. I think Jackobyte has had 2 recently :(

Yeah this was on my mind as well, so Ive gone and ordered an X-can. Thinking about ordering some stingers for it to keep the back of the car clean, will see how bad it gets first I think. Hopefully the can should be indestructable!
 
If you compare the stock with it the xcan is not much more then a bigger can with a bigger stinger. The motors will get more power tehn stock without the can all together. My neighbor tried the xcan out. Ya, its loud and gives low end but so does the other tuned pipes and you will get top end too. I'm not a fan of the xcan. Mine as well try a 5t pipe.

is the 5t pipe the high flow hpi one?
 
Ah well I'll soon find out because thats it on. The screws that come with it to hold the 2 parts of the can together are crap though. One of them rounded on me halfway in, and its now threadlocked in that position. I tried everything to get the bloody thing out and I cant without taking the car all apart and drilling it. So hoping the other 5 will be holding it tight enough to seal ok lol

get the mole grips out that,ll sort it , get some pics up of it fitted mate they look well bling,

Will get some pics up soon. I'm not that bothered about looks I'm just after performance but it does look really nice. I might end up putting long stingers on it with a couple of silencers
