I put a new reciever and radio (futaba 3Pl) in my 5 sc now it sounds like it has a rev limiter at full throttle, any ideas?

Why do you think it has a rev limiter? Look at the carb and see if it is opening all the way. If not, you might need to increase the throttle EPA.

I know it doesn't have a rev limiter that's just what it sounds like. I installed Killerrc lights and and a new futaba controller and now at full throttle it sounds like the is going on and off like the pumping the throttle.

the servo moves back and fourth while at full throttle, now what?

Swap the steering and throttle servo plugs in the receiver. See if the steering servo starts doing the same thing the throttle servo was doing. If it does then its a radio issue. If it doesn't then its a servo problem.

Oh yeah it only does with the motor running

Ok I had the killer rc controller in the bat box, I have taken that out but still hooked up and now the problem is gone. Now where to put the krc controller?

Must be some radio interference from all the extra wiring. Some EMI filters might help. Do you have a different radio you could put in there, just for a test?

No different radio, I will find something to put the krcc in, I will post up a picture you're site when I figure out some small box

if youve exausted all other options take the lights off and try again.sounds like an electrical fault/problem.i had same thing happen with my killswitch being faulty, sounded like it was missing(bit like rev limiter)
