rim choice for 5b

hi gents. as we race on tarmac, it looks like the plastic rims from Rovan cant keep up. they go skew or just end up wobbly after a few runs.
what are your thoughts on the nylon rims or the mad max rims? what will be the best option? thanks.

Interesting.. I've been running the Rovan/KM desperado clones for a few years now along with the original Proline Desperados and haven't really noticed any difference between them except the Prolines have less offset compared to the Rovan's. Both have held up the same to both tarmac and off road bashing. No wobbling and I've gone through a good 5-6 sets of tires. The Prolines have a reinforcement ring around the inner mounting hub, but I've never split a Rovan wheel because it didn't have the ring.

Are you running the Desperado clones or a different style?
