I want a mice aluminum or steel roll cage for my my. Does anyone know where to get one besides the stock aluminum one everyone sells. I seen a pic of one on here by Ron e. Looked custom built .

Me too if you find someone that makes one please let me know. I made one out of steel rod but its too heavy. a good custom aluminum job that supports the shock towers would be great.

First of all what car do you have? Also, if your gonna get one made use 3/8" or 5/16" 4130 chromoly tubing with a .049" wall. It's standard material used on 1:1 vehicle rollcages due to it's high strength, low weight, and easy to bend and weld. Here's two I built for the TT back in the day before I stopped making them. It was my low profile design because it hugged the engine and stayed low instead of swinging the entire roof over the sparkplug.

I have a MT I was kinda thinking of some thing that helps support the shock towers my cousin and I have broke a lot of front gear cases playing out in the Utah desert.

what do you think?

here's a couple pics of mine, my cousin made it... it's very strong and light. he made a few and we sold a couple, but the time and material makes it just not worth it. you have to charge a couple hundy and not many people want to pay. your best bet is to make them yourself or get a local welder / fabricator to make one.
