Heyy! I have a gas rampage xb,and it's been giving me some problems lately. About 2 weeks ago I bought the aluminum upgraded gear plate,center diff mount,and a set full set of bearings for it. I installed everything,and the rolls "rough" when i push it around on the floor. It's so bad that I can feel every tooth on the center diff as they are engaged. Also,the holes in the upper plastic plate that holds your throttle and steering servo don't all line u with the alum. upgrades. Please help:(
 
The center gears are not meshed correctly. When you reinstalled the gear squares, you most likely pulled the shaft out some. The lay shaft needs to have some play. You should be able to push it in and out a little bit.

You might need to disasemble and have a look. I have the aluminum goodies on mine and everything lined up as it should. Maybe you could post a pic of the misalignment.
