did you polish your aluminum after you took the color off?

nope, just de-ano'd with drano crystals, scrubbed with soapy sos pads then rinsed with water/viniger.... has a nice natural finish. and its just real clean for now.

i'm sure it's good and clean,lol. but i haven't heard of doing that like that but it looks like they just came off the mill.

used a stainless bowl, hot tap water, small scoop of drano crystals, swish aluminum for a few seconds and color comes right off, way easy. scrub with presoaped sos pads, rinse in cold water with viniger to nuetralize the draino and done. very easy and leaves a great finish.

good to know but of coarse the guy who is going to anodize all my stuff said he would strip the blue off, maybe he does it the same way, but don't know
