I bought roto start for my buggy just pops when turning over wont fire off.took off and put recoil on started first pull.Can I be turning motor over too fast? lots of fuel on plug.using 18 volt drill.
 
does the roto start have a one way bearing so u cant turn it over wrong direction?? most rotostarts I believe want a drill with at least 1200 rpms,, so it should fire as long as drill going right way ..,, if fires with the pull start, should fire with the roto start..
 
That's the first thing I wonder.....if turning wrong way. Maybe the one ways spinning as wrong direction.
 
I'll give you the advice that was giving to me: unless you have a medical problem that makes the pullstart difficult, stick with the pullstart. I had the rotostart on my Savage X and it was troublesome. When I put a new engine in, I left the pullstart on, and have never gone back.
