Lack of demand moat likely. That's not really a "conversion", more of a car style like it.

I would venture the fact the 5ive platform has a better transmission layout probably didn't help.
 
I assumed that after taking a look at pics. Looks like a longer shaft? Idk but judging by how many Baja's are sold demand can't be the reason. There's 6 Baja's to every Losi that are sold, at least. Lol.

Rovan and km is frowned upon by the big companies like flm, vertigo, ddm,ect. So I doubt any of them would like to have their good name by rovan. Plus lack of damand and they have a record for low quality, so most people wouldn't want to touch it becuase of the companies record. That's my guess atleast.

It's shorter than a Dunerunner.
I actually thought the same and bought a body for my DR thinking it would fit but it's about 50mm shorter at the front.
Rear end is identical to the DR,
