Besides that...they could all be sub companies like the ones under General Motors...ie...Holden,Chevrolet,Buick,Cadillac,GMC,Opel,Vauxhall!!!....They all work under one major company......GM...

So who's to say RC companies aren't any different?????

I don't know about anyone else but I'm sick to death of hearing people whining about clones!!!!! What does it matter if the owner of clones are happy anyway???

If you want a clone......GET ONE.....if you don't want a clone.....DON'T.............SIMPLE!!!!

i am personally sick to death of people getting on my case for complainign about the quality of my baja and telling me it is all my fault while accusing me of just trying to bash hpi which is NOT likely since i have yet to run a gallon through mine due to all the failures and i have no reason to bash hpi nor do i have a reason (or desire) to purchase another hpi product ever again after this horrendous experince with my genuine baja 5Bss.
 
worpor hows the mt going for you? surprised to hear the diff went so early on in the peice. i did over 40 tanks with my FG mt and never did anything to the diff and have done over 80 tanks in my 4WD FG baja (same diffs as MT) and never replaced a gear, have had to reaplce the housing though.

Agreed with you there Raptor. My next door neighbour bought a Ford Modeo ,it was brand new,straight off the transporter and the thing didn't run right from day one!:o After a couple of weeks in and out od the garage he was so d up Ford gave him his money back
You and he just bought one of those lemons mate.Hope in the future you get to get a guddun.

yeah i have even mentioned repeatedly that i am aware of ALL manufacturers having an acceptable percentage rate for failures but seriously when i have had my baja assembled for 6 months now, spent well over 2k and still have yet to get a full gallon of fuel through it is just plain unacceptable. i have contacted hpi so much and had parts replaced so often that hpi is giving me that vibe of no longer wanting to support their product. every time i contacted them i offered to send in the deffective parts and was repeatedly told no it wasnt necessary so i threw them out and NOW hpi wants me to send them the bad parts whcih is no longer possible.

i ran hpi for years with the original nitro rs4's, rs4 minis, nitro minis, and my proceed (although i only got to run this for about a month before hpi discontinued it :mad: ) only to get a savage that was almost as bad in terms of quality as my baja has been however i found someone who wanted it for parts since he to had massive issues with his savage and we did some horsetrading :D
 
I really wish there were more reviews of them online for me to read before I make the purchase though.
 
well, i don't have the truck, but i do have a 5b and a 5b converted to terminator.... more than a year already.....replaced so far one piston sets and a few head gaskets... doing great until now.....
