rovan electric conversion

Just curious if anyone knew whether or not the electric conversion from Rovan would work on our MT. If it is a bolt on affair that is a really good price to test the electric side of life.

Oh well. Hey Dad, completely unrelated to this original topic, but I just found some of the rear HPI hubs on ebay and bought two sets so I could use 24mm wheels all on my MT. Got all 4 of them for $30 shipped! Not too fond of the fact they are orange, but I will scuff them up and have my painter paint them when he is shooting one of the cars, after they arrive.

Agreed. De-anodizing would be better than paint. The paint won't hold up on the threads.

Yeah I saw that one. It's just a bit out of my price range at the moment. May look into it in the future. Also, I don't quite understand how that site is laid out. I can't tell what the actual price is of the kit lol.

Appreciate the info on de-anodizing those pieces. Will there be anything that needs to be done to protect the raw finish? I'm pretty happy about getting those for $30 out the door. Also purchased a pre - filter for the air filter and for the pull cover. Got both of those for $9 shipped.

You can just leave them raw. A bit of oil like WD40 will keep them from oxidizing.
