hi guys does any body know whats the WT of the stock shock oil of the EVO 3? i was planning to replace the oil with a higher viscouscity thinking it was quite thin because it has a good play when its running of road but when i dismantled it and then test it with out the spring on, it felt thick, i was going to put a 40wt but like i said it felt like it has thicker than 40wt.

im seting up my RR for on road use and i want to stiffen the shocks a liitle bit.

thanks guys

Denz,
you want to thicken the rear shocks more than the front, that way the car doesn't squat as much when you accelerate.. 40wt is good in my opinion, but then again that is just my thought.

BTW: how are you liking you new car? let's see some dirty pictures of it,,, I mean pictures of it dirty,,, You know what I mean....LOL

hahaha!!:lol::clap: dirty pictures! thats a good one!

well i took it for a spin in our local bash area where theres a oval-ish type track and i was very well pleased with the cars handling performance. compare to my 5B the mcd is in a whole diiferent league. im a drift driver i like to drift cars and this car is a drift-miester, looks beautiful on those apex and corners, and considering everything is still stock, everything hold very well.

unfortunately i didnt took pictures so i don't have anything to show you, but ill be out again next week so ill try and take some action shots and videos.

cheers mate

Good deal,
I like to drift as well. There is a terrain out by were i live that is perfect for that, i put my gravel tires on and off we go..
I was looking at the front tires the other day when i was driving on pavement and they have so much slop in them when i take a corner but i don't even care.. I am having so much fun with this car..
