Well I have learned my lesson no more cheap throttle servos for me. Just had my first runaway, Just got my rampage pro all put together and put a tower pro servo in it cuz it was a lil faster response than the Hitec bad choice. luckily it did not crash went about 100 yards across the field and got it to turn around, my lucky day I guess.

And you call yourself a team driver!

Did you have time to hit the killswitch? Ive had a few mishaps where hitting the killswitch was delayed by gasping and panicing first! Soemtimes Ive been so close to crashiing there isnt time anyway to hit it.

LMAO, lucky you didn't demolish anything.

I've had the pleasure of fishing a completely submerged FG Baja out of a stinking drainage ditch. Wasn't my car, however, I figured I volunteer since I was the one idiot in shorts and flip flops.

I had the pleasure of chasing my Baja down the side of a river bank one day. reversed the linkage on my Baja and forgot to reset the failsafe. Needless to say when I accidently flipped my radio off my baja went wide open. It was less than 50ft from the river bank facing right towards it. Luckily it spun sideways and ran parallel to the river. Lesson learned, and haven't ran without a killswitch since :D

It just happens to the others... haha lesson learned. ;) The first run after break-in i got my rampage run away, straight line to the public way. There was people and cars comming on the street, hopefully it hit the sidewalk and flipped up. Immediately ordered the pico switch with fail safe and now am using hpi sf-5 servo for throttle, not that fast but superb quality for what, 25-30$ on ebay...

wow Forist, lucky... had it happen to me also, went wide open for about 30-50 feet then got lucky and she stopped. last time I ran till I got a kill switch and hitec servo's. SCARY isn't it :)

Ya it is don't want that to happen again. I have to get a kill switch the one I have will not work with my radio, and the one that will work with it has been out of stock.
