Well after digging through the ordinances for Flower Moudn tx and talking with park and recreation, I can run my XT in the local parks as long as I don't get in the way of Pedestrian traffic. great part is I found a park right by my house that has a great section that has old dirt trails on it so looks like I will be running my truck close to home

Had the Flower Mound Police stop by last nite, thank goodness I had finished that beer on the drive over to the park :) . they stopped and got out and hadn't seen a RC truck so big. Well 10 minutes of chit chat and he was loving it.

Told me to be safe and enjoy looked like fun. All I could say was Woooshhh

I've never had any issues with the law relating to the RCs not even for noise. Like you stated, most are too busy admiring what is being driven. :)

hmm...when I come outside even with my Nitro RC, people run away.....i've never hit anyone....just hit my own mailbox (twice).....I don't think people where i live have seen an RC besides the ones sold at WalMart......whenever I see a car enter the road, i get the RC in the yard and out of their way, i never act like i'm gonna chase anyone or anything...although I did use it to run a dog out of my yard....she was about to crap in my yard and i inched up to her little by little....just making a little noise hoping she'd run away...it was funny when I got kind of close...flipped it into reverse and floored it...high pitch sound scared her and she ran off :D
