Here it is.

I'll be there with the Dune Runner. Is there ANY other Red Cat runners except for me in SoCal?

PS. As it stands now the track is 132' long, 8" of sand to run on. Larry said the track length might change, depending on conditions.

This is a BRAND NEW EVENT! If you can, get your butt out here!

Wish I could make it,I'm tired of snow !
After watching TWC, I can believe it! I was stationed in Maine for 4 years, and got tired of N'easters every Friday and a weekend of shoveling and blowing snow. On the base, one guy parked his MG Midget at the BX parking lot before he left for a 2 week detachment before the snow started falling. Long story short, a HUGE N'easter came in and dumped around 4' of snow just before he got back. His car was found the next spring when the snow melted. Got buried even further by the snow plows. Total loss.

Or the guys I sent on a detachment who shared an apartment. They had water beds and turned off the heat in the apartment, and the heat pads for the water beds. Besides frozen pipes, they had two BIG ICE CUBES when they got back.

Any guesses why the wife and I live by Edwards AFB in the Mojave Desert?

Spent the day at the Sand Drags yesterday. Didn't run, had a mechanical problem at the get go. However I got the chance to meet Rob, the guys from OBR, and had a great time watching the drags. There were a couple of Father/Son teams racing, and Dad didn't always win! Fast run for the day was a 2.99/60 MPH something run!

When I get a chance I'll post some videos.

There will be another race in 6 weeks or so. I'll be there!

I'm uploading a video to YouTube at this time, but my DSL is as slow as molasses running uphill in January right now.
