hi yeah i know, in my head there finished:clown: i think the end game is to have a load of custom fabricated chassis that i can collect parts to build to a certain std and finish, once you have a welded chassi that you know takes certain parts as money comes avalable you can slowly build it, its like my shelf queen hpi bajas, totally built from ebay a 5b, an ss and a 5t, 80% finished until i needed a few parts, now just a pile of bits, but if your not in a hurry, it dosnt matter, i will never use them, i have another 5b to bash which has a blown engine at the moment which is a good time to to use the parts to build chassis around to size things up

Sweet ,mate.I've just came in from my workshop.I only went out there for a frozen snack out of the freezer....that was at 10.30pm its now 02.40am ! I can see how you get carried away with your tinkering.I just refilled the shocks in my Mamba and started polishing the alloy...ALL of it!

Staying in the workshop is addicting. I spend hours at a time there like a mad man. Food or drinking isn't even relevant once i get started on something. LOL

It's coming along nicely roofchopper

yol voo nice, what do they wear like, do you get much play in the joints, are they bushed like the bx, what are you looking for for it, what size engine, ive always wanted one

Chop,I couldnt tell you what they are like to run,I have never had it out:blush:(sound like Keith!:clown:)The joints are not bushed but I have ploughed everything with copper slip.Everything is as smooth as silk and I have just filled the shocks with FG 7000WT in the back and 6000 in the front .I Think thats just right for the weight of the buggy. The engine is a 23cc Zen,tons of compression and looking at it probably had a tank through it (its spotless, and the carb bulb is virtually clear)The shell has no spilts and is 99% perfect(odd scuff here and there but no damage to the paint) Samba, steel gears,4X discs (rears need two sleeves of plastic to mount, cost pennys) The Chrome covers are off my MCD so will be put back on it and original blacks put on the mamba. The servos will be removed also. There are also a set of ball drives i bought with it but have not been fitted.
