guys whats the best way to go with this if you aint got a baja donor

1 buy secondhand baja and deal with worn/broken/missused parts
2 buy new ss kit use whats needed and sell off rest
3 just buy the parts needed or upgrades

If you are buying a chassis like this,I,in my opinion would build it from the chassis up! Get good quality parts like RPM's and stuff so that its bullet proof and a decent mill. There is no point in buying a used baja when there will be so many knackered pars on it that will have to be replaced.
After all, would you buy a Ferrari and put a set of bald tyres on it?:rolleyes:pointless.

im hoping to have a budget of around £1500/£2000 sometime next year,i don't need rx/tx got these,i want good amounts of grunt but not interested in bling its got to be used and hard hence the roofchopp cage theres nothing out there as strong or as cool full stop

was planning on using stock ss parts and running as is,plus i think buying kit and selling off unused parts would work out cheaper than getting parts here and there, would use stock mill with a different headkit don't know what pipe yet

what stock parts are just not up to the job

hi, my green machine has all stock parts apart from a 30.5 and rear tr brace, i give it some stick but don't jump off cliffs so it holds up well
