its easy just pull the black plastic knob off (quite hard)then under that you will see a brass coloured nut undo that then you can remove the knob from the handset just cut the 3 wires resolder on to the switch one on each pole brown on the center pole mine still wont go off when handset switched off for some reson but i not a worried about that it was more twisting the knob was the problem also theres fair bit of room inside the handset for a small switch good luck let me know how it goes cheers for your help mate

you no that its been bugging me for a couple of months and it was that simple id even move that switch about 4 times without even thinking of using it nightmare
 
used the car today for the first time with this handset and kill switch worked spot on tried switch while flat out and it killed engine instantly result much better driving now i know if somthing goes wrong i can save it must have item will never use large scale car without remote kill again and would recomend anybody else to use one its better to be safe than sorry

youre probaly right but i had the switch before the hand set not buying another switch as it would have cost me twice as much then this hobbys all about makeing the most out of what weve got in the future i may buy one then i can use my 3rd ch for nitrous oxide kit im looking into at the mo
