Savage time

Been a little while since i've run my nitro savage xl, spending most of my time with the rampage. Took it out yesterday after installing a new dynamite 086hs pipe... lost a little bit of low but wow does this thing ever rip on the high end now! I can't take any good videos, but here's some pics.

I read on an article somewhere that they are try to put a gassed engine in the savage!! I saw a prototype it looked like a nitro engine with a nitro pipe!!

Yep. I believe HPI is going to put those gas engines in several different models. Can't wait to see that!

Yeah, it would be pretty sweet! I haven't seen any new info about them, so hopefully they didn't drop it.

Thanks! That was one of the best upgrades that can be done. Wish FLM was doing redcat upgrades, their stuff is kickass.

are those shocks from an LST? I had a Losi aftershock that had those shocks and they are impressive

Yeah their pulled from an LST2, best MT 1/8th scale shocks out there

Yes they are great but also a lot heavier then stock. I have been into ky nitros hardcore again love blasting my savage into trees and falling and not braking anything.

Been wanting to get back into nitros, again. Sure, it's expensive but I'm addicted to the sound and the smell. I miss that.

+1 on that i have three savages and my sons both have one.and they are pretty bullet proof.i have a team Orion wasp motor and matching team Orion pipe and it sounds awesome.just like a swarm of wasps..always enjoy my savages plus its a 3speed and cranks wheelies in all 3 gears all day long...
