Hey Dudes,
Im looking at getting one of the Scorpion front chassis braces for my Baja. Ive been told they protect the front end from bending when landing jumps heavy...... this sounds like something i need !!
Just wondering if anyone is using one and can offer any opinions or advice. Also.... once it is fitted, can you then re-fit the plastic chassis cover (85420-3)and the little front bumper thingy (85420-1) , or do they have to stay removed ??
Cheers y'all :D

i use them. great piece. coupled with a TR HD Top Plate, you really need to small a wall at 50 without brakes, to damage them.

just like any piece, make sure all the bolts stay nice and tight.
but yes, great product and helps alot.

if you couple it with the SU Lightened Chassis, you end up being abou the same weight at the stock chassis alone.

Yes you still keep the little front bumper thingy

Vid on you tube on how to install it

They ain't indestructable.

I run a standard chassis, scorpion chassis brace and turtle top plate. Mine twisted after a nasty crash into a boulder. It led to a twisted chassis, scorpion plate, turtle top plate, turtle shock tower/brace combo and GPM shock tower uprights oh and 2 hi-tensile screws.

just imagine how mucked up it would of been without the SU brace and Turtle top plate.

they arent indistructable like you mentioned, but they do a LOT to help keep things in check thru most the harsh stuff.
