After 3 runs in gravel and some dirt, I opened my plastic gear box to find a bunch of gunk mixed with dirt. I have wiped the grease off a few times before, but never had so much dirt mixed in with it. So I got myself some clear caulk that is water and sun resistant and lined the entire inside perimeter of the box and slapped it on. I also circled the bolt and screw holes and filled in the gap at the bottom of the box when it is pressed against the plate.
What have you guys done to actually seal the box up?
