Servo acting up.

i was driving my MT and it locked up the breaks. went over to see what the deal was and the servo was full break. i shut everything off and turn remote and truck on and servo goes full break...

Sounds like your receiver is not receiving signal from your radio or your radio's battery is about to die and it turns on the default fail safe maybe? You may also have a faulty throttle servo too. You can test new battery or buy new servo to help troubleshoot. If it's a stock servo then you should get a hightech. It could be your receiver too... troubleshoot one by one bud and let us know.

well charged battery pack and hook it up again today. steering works perfect but still goes full break soon as i turn it on. wont even throttle up when i am full throttle on the remote....?????

Re bind your systom.

well i re-binded the system today and still does the same thing. i think my next bet is try a new servo.

You can also try the steering servo put the steering servo in the throttle spot on the receiver and see if it does the same thing or does it work correct.

yea i did that it it still does the same thing.

Ok if its still doing the same thing then its probably the receiver is bad on that channel.

when i hook the steering into that channel it works fine. but when i hook the throttle into the steering channel it does it.

Oh ok sorry I didn't understand that part then yes its the servo you will need a new one.

NOOOOOO!!!!! for sure. i sent a claim into redcat about the problem. cuz it wasnt anyting i did wrong it just happened outta no where. on a perfect day non the less

Yes the stock servos are really a crap shot you have to roll the dice and hope for the best. I always keep spare servos because they can go bad for no reason without notice. Buying after market servos will work better and last alot longer.

So even when redcat send you a new one back still buy you a good hitec servo for great service.

replace the servo it happened to me last week.it burnt up internally
