my blackout isnt that old, its got dual ms 241 servo's and one of them has completly died, no response or sounds from it at all, it was working 100% fine when i last used my car, ive check all the connections and ive even tryed pluging just that one servo into the Rx and still nothing

any ideas? or how this would of happend?

If the servo is the stock servo or a generic then that would explain it, they're junk, get a hitec thats what most guys are using like a hitec 5755 or hitec 805mg

yeh there the stock servos

cheers man, im gonna try and get a new one under the warrenty but, i would like to upgrade the whole electronics, if i got a pair of either of them servos do i need new mounts? or will the standard mounts hold them?

well im running dual hitec 755 mg for steering....they required me to cut off the bottom mounting hole tabs and drill new ones for the servo....apart from that no other mods were needed...im sure the 5755 is the same deal from wat i hear the 805mgs are bigger tho and are more of a pain to install

aluminum futaba mount lets you use 5755 or 805mg without drilling and its just a matter of bolting it up really easy and not a pain, im not familiar with the hitec 755 being it only has 199.97 oz-in @6v, the hitec 5755 is rated at 347 oz-in @6v almost double also the hitec 805mg is rated at 345 oz-in @6v you don't want to be cutting corners on steering servos on these 30 pound trucks the more torque the better :)
