Hello all. I see many are using Hitec servos on here. A few things i need to know if what throttle servo is plug and play? From what i remember back in the day is a Futaba servo wouldnt fit into a Airtronics and so on. And the same as the servo arms. Many different threads caused me to order tons of different servo arms as well. I hope things have changed over the years and most are universal? That leads me to my next question. I wouldnt mind getting aluminum servo arms for my steering servos but what fits? I am more then happy with the stock steering servos that it came with.


For throttle i am going towards the Hitec 5645. Any info would be more than helpful
 
Any standard size servo will work for throttle/brake. I use a 645 on my MT, and it fits fine. The 5645 will fit, as well. Hitec doesn't use the J style connector, so they'll fit without having to trim crap.
 
Thanks! I do see the 5645 has a bit more TQ so I am going to go with that. Does the stock servo arm/horn work with this servo?
