Servo install help

I just got my rampage mt in and I am trying to put it all together but I am overwhelmed. I have a few questions:


1. I am trying to upgrade the steering servo to hitec 805bb with futaba mount. But I notice on the other side under the battery box there is another servo (I'm assuming another steering servo) can I bypass this servo by simply removing it or can I leave it in. Or will a 805bb servo fit in?


2. On the instructions it says to set your gear mesh. Where is this and is it a necessity?


3. Do I need to loctite the motor mount screws on the bottom?


So many questions but any help would be appreciated!

- You can run just a single servo.

- No gear mesh to set. That is a misprint.

- Yes on the Loctite. You should do all of them that thread into metal.

Can I leave the servo in and simply remove the hardware? Or should I remove it?

You could leave it in, but why? It's only 4 bolts to remove it. At the very least unplug it.
