Ok so I decided to take my mt out today it was rippin great but under full throttle I couldn't turn for nothing so I drove it in and realized when I turn the servo one was twitching speraticly when I turned it both directions. So is my servo bad or radio crap?? Servo stock and radio stock from redcat.....thanks guys any help would be great!! And it wouldn't surprise me if it was servo cause my throttle servo went out before the first tank of break in.

Steering servo in MT v3

When I try to install that savox servo in the mt v3 it doesn't look like it there is any way it could fit. How did you get it in?

Thanks,

George

There is a larger servo mount http://www.rcpitstop.net/5th-scale-mt-tt-dunerunner.html (about half way down the page)

You may still have to do some modding on the other side if you plan to run dual servos.

All stock servos

MT Pro series all aluminum hope ups. I had a throttle servo go crazy an floor itself an crashed the truck. Failsafe FAILED. Had multiple probs with the steering servos. What happens is the wires inside the servos come loose an short to other contacts in side. Quick fix an HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED!!!!!!!! Take your servos apart an squirt some silicon inside an make sure it gets down were the wires are an making it so there's no way they can vibrate or move around. I filled mine to the brim an haven't had a problem since. Don't understand why they don't do this from factory. Would have saved me a deductible for a new central air unit. The truck hit it at full bore an knocked it clean off the pad an tore off all the connections. 'Words to remember!!!!' don't GET IN THE WAY OF THIS TRUCK.

A kill switch would have been your best friend!!!!

Yes, a remote kill switch is a must on a 1/5 gasser. The failsafe is completely useless on a failing servo.

I would recommend upgrading that throttle/brake servo.

Both are inexpensive upgrades for an expensive vehicle.
