what servos do you guys all recomend?? im thinking bout doin hitec servos for brake n throttle, but as for the steering hitec?? rhino??? with the fgs if i go rhino do i have to modify anything ??

If you are on a budget the Hitech 805 will work for steering and a 5645 or more for throttle and brakes. For a bit more $$ you can use a 5745 for steering or Rhino.

5745mg hitecs for steering. Great customer service.

JRDS8711, Z9100t or older Z9000T's for throttle break. They have great power for breaks and a 3 year warranty.

ive always had great results with Multiplex Servos.

my bergs used Jumbos. great servos, never a turning problem with the onroad. been using HiTs 5745s in the baja (and stockers with mgs) and i ve never been Satisfied with the steering except when the stock servo was new.

So im currently converting over to Rhinos for the Bajas, got one, and will need to buy a 2nd. waiting to install it until i get an aftermarket servo mount adapter for the Rhino, should really help tighten up the steering slop in the baja.

Since mine is electric, I use just a Hitech 605 for my braking servo.. I use the Hitech 805 for steering and it has lots of power to turn it.. But maybe soon as I get into more serious racing, I may upgrade to a faster turning servo. I know it's makes a big difference when using a good quality servo... Ever since I spent $600 on 4 servos for my smaller scale stuff, I'm stuck on "You get what you pay for" saying.. Well, for servos anyways...
